GAS BOOSTER
UNIT
Gas Booster P/N1094-000 is an accessory designed to rise the pressure of a compressed gas (Air or Nitrogen) without external power help. This is the difference with other apparatus that need a compressed air source to work.
It is used to obtain a needed
pressure from a partially empty cylinder.
The minimum pressure needed for the unit to work efficiently is around
560PSI (35 Bars) and the safety valve being adjusted to 3200 PSI (200 Bars)
the utilization range spread between those two values which is also what
most modern aircrafts need.
From a partially empty cylinder on which the booster in connected and having a remaining pressure of about 600 PSI you can generated at the unit outlet a pressure of 3200 PSI(200 Bars) which can be used directly to fill tires, shock absorbers or accumulators, permitting to empty almost completely your cylinder, thus deleting the need to put a new one in service and saving quite some time and money.
Light maintenance requires recalibration once a year or every 200 hours
